Welcome to the Aero Club of Broken Hill Website.   Our club  has a long and proud history, but in recent years had fallen  into a poor state, so much so it appeared it may not survive.

A group of dedicated enthusiasts decided that they would not  let that happen. After much effort the club is now starting a  new lease of life. The clubhouse is being repainted, the grounds landscaped and internal modifications are in the  planing stage. Our GA aircraft, a Grumman tiger, is fully  serviced and ready to hire.

We have a number of events planed for the year, which will be  posted on this site soon. We are also having a membership  drive, so if you live in the area, please think about joining us.

Jim and Marie Nesbit have started Aus-Rec Aircraft flight training  here at Broken Hill and are located in the clubrooms and  offering a great service. So, please check back regularly as  this website is in it's infant stage, and if you are in Broken Hill  contact us, or drop by the clubhouse on a Saturday morning  for a chat and a cuppa. Cheers!
